Carolyn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling, and has over 10 years of experience providing therapeutic support to youth and adults in a variety of settings. She views health and wellness through a holistic lens, and utilizes a unique approach to counselling which is rooted in Ecotherapy. She believes that much of healing and growth comes from connecting and interacting with our natural environment, and offers counselling services through both nature-based and office-based settings.
Carolyn uses a holistic, collaborative, and strengths-based approach which blends different counselling modalities based on client need and preference. She has foundations in Ecotherapy, Narrative and Collaborative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She believes in the power of connection—to self, to others, to the environment—and feels honored to come alongside her clients as they move forward in their own life journey.
Carolyn works cross-culturally and is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment regardless of race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation. She offers individual and group support to youth and adults in the areas of:
