Infrared saunas use light waves to directly heat your body. These light waves are invisible to the naked eye but are felt as heat. Becasue of this more direct heating method infrared saunas can operate at a lower temperate than traditional saunas.

FAQ
What temperature is ideal?
For most people somewhere between 110- 135F is comfortable. Everyone tolerates heat differently, so find a temperature that works for you. You may need to work up to a higher temperate or to a full 30 minute session.
What should I bring to my sauna session?
Please bring water. Water bottles are not permitted inside the sauna but you will be provided with a paper cup to take in with you for hydration. You may also wish to bring your own towel - though some will be provided for you.
What do I wear in the sauna?
This is up to you! Some prefer to wrap up in a towel or wear a swim suit and others prefer to go au naturel.
You will be given 3 towels upon arrival 1 Large and 2 Small. Place one towel on the bench to sit on, one on the floor and use the other to wrap up in or to use as a sweat towel.
Can anyone use the infrared sauna?
The infrared sauna is NOT recommended for those with the following conditions:
- pregnancy
- eye disease
- dizziness
- heat sensitivity
- narcolepsy
- seizures
- high / low blood pressure
- ciculatory problems
- diabetes
- sunburn
- high body temperate/ fever
*if you have any concerns about your ability to use the infrared sauna safely please consult with your physician prior to booking an appointment

What supposed benefits does an infrared sauna have?
These are said to include: better sleep, relaxation, detoxification, weight loss, relief from sore muscles, relief from joint pain such as arthritis, clear and tighter skin and improved circulation
What will my visit look like?
Upon arrival you will be greeted at the front desk and be given a waiver to fill out. Once the paperwork is out of the way you will be lead to the Infrared Sauna room where you will find 3 towels (1 large & 2 small) along with a paper water cup waiting for you. The front desk representative will walk you through how to use the sauna and what you can expect during your session.
Your sauna session will be a maximum of 30 minutes in length and will start once you are left to enjoy the sauna.
Once your sauna session is over towel off, redress and rehydrate!
